The little rubber bumpers that the license plate bracket rest against to keep from hitting the paint.
here is the closest I could find
REAR LICENSE PLATE BUMPER GM 1982-1988 MONTE CARLO | eBay

but the ones on our buicks look a little longer and slimmer.
Does anybody know where I can find the ones for our buicks?

    thank you

If you still have the originals (in case the push-in part broke off leaving you with only the bumper part) you can just dab a little silicone on the end and push them back in. Good as new. Now, if they are missing completely, that's another story.

According to http://perfauto.tripod.com/data/2-068.pdf the p/n is 4880572. And according to a couple of online parts places, they are still available from GM for a couple bucks each. Also, there is: Bumpers - Fuel Door (set of 2)

Might be cheaper to just go to your local dealer. Probably won't have to pay shipping.

as long as shipping price isn't outrageous, I'll order from them. vendors selling odd parts like this for our cars can only help the original manufactures to keep on making them, I would think.
    thanks again!
