I purchased my trans from Brian Hofer a couple years ago a non lockup 200r4
No complaints it works fine, it has the trans brake oPtion where 1st activates the transbrake bumping to 2nd releases it. I have never used it and doubt I ever will so would like to take it out.
At the time Brian acted like it wouldn't be that big a deal for me to do.
Anyone have a step be step guide to to it since Brian seems Mia now.

    Thanks

Do you have the parts Brian took out of the trans? You should have the original manual valve and low overun valve and spring.

Let me know if you need the vb parts. I have them. Low overrun valve and spring and manual valve. You need to switch the plate also since it's drilled out in that location.

I think you will need a check ball also.

I purchased the transmission outright so I do not have any of those parts.
Can this be done from the pan side with the trans in the car ?
    Sounds a little involved.
Bison shoot me a price for the parts too please.
    Thanks

You will need to source a new plate. I have new GM BR plates if you're interested in one of those. I'll send you the manual valve., ball check, and low overrun spring and valve for postage. All will fit in a small flat rate. If you want a plate it's $40 for it.
