Ok, I had it in my hand, knew I should buy it and let it go. It sold right away to a dealer. I had non-buyers remoruse all day. It had a 4" barrel. I should have bought that and am afraid to tell my dad about it. He's going to call me a dumbass.. ..
Was it a P&R (pinned & recessed) non MIM parts revolver? That's about the best price that I've seen lately for one of the best revolvers ever manufactured. Yep... you choked. ~JM~
Yep, thats it.. One thing is it didn't have the original grips not that I would care at that price... Were you talking about a pinned barrel? If so I'm not that into S&W so I don't notice such things but thats something my dad would ask. Would that make it an early model? ..
That's a nice looking shooter! That one has a pinned barrel. Recessed would be the cartridge bores. All signs of earlier guns. ~JM~
If my legs were long enough I'd kick you from here. I'd be sitting here waiting for the spring gun show at market hall to double my cash on it.
You definitely let a good one go, hell for that price I would have bought it the minute I laid eyes on it. LOL
