Please tell me this is the correct orientation of the antenna motor bracket...

    Since the motor was not connected to the antenna mast for the last 11 years, I do not remember how it was oriented...but this appears to be the only way it would work, putting the motor very close to the inner fender liner...
    Here is a pic of it, letting the sealant all dry before I try to mount it...and there appears that there should have been some sort of groumet of something on the end of the mast where it connects to motor, I just had to silicon it up sinceI'm missing that, otherwise it was a very sloppy fit.

    So does this look correct? With the bracket to the smooth side of the gear box.

    Being that I need to repair the antenna in the HT car, I popped the inner fender liner of it...and of course I have it backwards....
    Bracket should be on the ribbed side of the gear housing.... The GN must be the way I have it as that is how it shows in the Service Manual :mad:
    So I had to take the housing back apart and clean all the messy sealant up......all back together and drying now...

    If the dang thing works now, I'll have a $1.50 fix for the broken nylon :) I'll post up a write up once I have it working....
