new best 10.09 127mph

    bought my car in febuary and finally getting some seat time and getting the hang of how to launch, previous best was 10.5 (not close to what this car should do) changed the converter to a 3800 stall pro torque billet 9.5 and what a difference. will be looking at nines here real soon with with a little more track time
    also had one 10.5 pass at 142mph :eek:

    nice et and 1/8th mph.. but what happened up top? only gained 17mph , should have gained 27 up top

    was in gamblers race and let off at end didnt want to break out......on the 10.5 run 1/8mph was 109mph 1/4 mph was 142, ****ty 1.76 60 ft

    Great numbers, what cam are you running and how much boost on that 71 to run 142mph?

    the cam is a 234 comp cam the boost is at 28 lbs, the 142 run came out of nowhere... my previous best was 131mph as i mentioned i am still getting the hang of launching and shifting at the right rpm, i think once i get my act together the car should run mid nines....too bad i have to wait till spring to find out

    YES IT WAS AT THOMPSON, I WENT THE FIRST 2 WEEKENDS IN NOVEMBER... MET A FEW BUICK PEOPLE THERE, WERE YOU THE TURBO T SHOWING OFF THE UNDERSIDE AT THE STARTING LINE:eek:... THANKS FOR THE COMPLIMENT:cool:

    Nice job man what converter did you have in there before the Pro torque?

    when i bought the car it had a precision 76 gtq and a 8"coan with a 4400 stall, way to much for a 235. so i changed to a 71 billet and the pro torque that stalls at 3700... big difference spools great
