Main and Rod Bearings

What bearings does everybody use in there stage motors and where do you buy them? Where I buy mine from won't return my phone calls so I am looking for another supplier. Thanks

107M Speedpro mains you can get from Advance Auto.

Both of my stage engines required the bearings to be machined and one even needed the locating tangs filed off. If they only require off the shelf bearings, then you can get them from any vendor. I usually get them from DLS.

For wide rod bearings I use Clevite CB1398 H series. I prefer the Clevite V-series but they are out of production and nearly impossible to find in .001 under or over. The H's are available in CB1398H-1 (.001 Undersize) and CB1398-HX (.001 over). Nearly any autoparts store that carries Mahle-Clevite can order these bearings if they do not have them in stock.
