I have a sensor on the front side of the motor near the boost control valve that has one hose going in from the vac port but the other end goes no where. What is this guy and where are the line supposed to go?

That limits boost when its under abuse mode and cuts boost when in reverse. Its not needed for anything. Most performance setups dont have them and my firebird with an M90 doesnt have one.

I think it goes between the manifold and BBV but dont quote me on that. If your car is a top swap there wont be wiring for it.

Wow that was fast response, you rock. So the hose part goes the the boost control valve which is broke off. You say that most people with performance setups don't use it, that is good. I will block off the hose and run it then. Thanks for the help.

boost bypass solenoid... it influences the boost bypass valve as mentioned above for abuse ,reverse etc..

If you have it unhooked, just make sure the hose coming off the vaccum "tree" on the SC is plugged, if not it is like having a big vac leak.
