Went to local street meet last night, and got hit up to race a 1st Gen SRT8 Jeep.

SRT8 Guy said he had a tune and nitrous (unknown shot) and ran an 11.8.

Stock they go high 12/low 13s from what I found.

My gut says either the guy was bs-ing or hiding something.

What do these suv's run and how do they respond to mods?

I have one stock high 12s to low 13s out the box. My coworker got his 12.7 with just a tune and exhaust. I never took mine to the track.

Last year I talked to a guy that had one running low 12s/high 11s. He spent thousands on heads and intake. Most others I have seen run in the low 13s/high12s. Impressive for an SUV. Personally I wouldn't bother modifying one, just not worth it unless you have money out the whazoo.

What would a 100 or 150 shot add to that?

    High 11s?
