The front end of my gtp feels like it's going to fall off. 206k miles. It pops sometimes on a firm shift & randomly shakes at highway speeds. Anyone else with high mileage, what parts have you replaced? Only thing I've replaced are hub & bearing assys. Suspension shot? I have tie rod ends that need installed. What else? Thanks, Tim

Mine only needed lower control arms bushings at 130k Just did them Saturday. Back to feeling 100% would slosh around when changing lanes you could feel a (bump) in the wheel when turning at speed, and popping while making low speed turns,

    bushings

Check Your upper strut bushings. They will clunk when You give it gas & brake. Very common.

lower control arms bad, the front of the control arm, single bushing tears from its sleeve. causing a shake, wheels shift when come to stop, feel wobble/shake in steering going around a corner, also squeak, creak, bang, clunk noises. will vibrate starting about 45mph. up.
I just replaced mine at 176,000

I'd like to know this too. I have ALL SORTS of **** clunking and groaning in my front end. My car rides like a four poster bed on roller skate wheels. ALL my front end stuff was replaced a few months ago, on a mint 80,000 mile car. The only thing that's factory on my front end, is my wheel bearings, and tie rods. This car rides like a 300,000 mile example. Someone help. It's driving me mad.

Lower control arm bushings are common problem. I would do quick struts in the front. That will take care of the struts and mounts and springs. Check the swaybar also. They like cracking at the ends. replace them tierods and that will help alot. good luck
