    I finding chunk's of speaker cone in my trunk again .. I would just like to know what high line speakers i should buy .. Seems like they only last about two years at most .. I think the car being stored for winters is dry rotting them .. But this year the car is in florida but still the speakers are still falling apart . What do you sugjest ?

    what speakers do you have now/ sound like you need something with a butyl surround.

    That's right the newer one are poly with butyl surrounds.older paper with foam surrounds fallapart as you mentioned...if you stay with 4x10sthe I like pioneers...if you go with 6x9 with adaptors most all name brand do well......

    Clarion 120 .do the pioneer fit in the stock buckets ?

    i dont remember...i dont think so...i usually mount the speakers with self tapping screws.im not afan of the oem brackets.
