FUEL GAUGE REMOVAL

    HOPE this is the right place.....
    did a search did not see what i was looking for...my dash gauge is still not reading correct..can someone point me in the right direction to remove cluster to check for broken filaments or maybe a bad ground....i can tap side of dash gauge will move to a diff position but wont go to EMPTY when EMPTY nor FULL when FULL....CHECKED SENDER when iput pump in tank and with sender to EMPTY I COULD hit side of dash it would go to EMPTY with the arm all way up i would hit dash it would show FULL...ANY thoughts would help...

    My fuel gauge had the same exact problem its more likely is the bad sending unit in tank .

    Just replaced it with a new one from Racetronix. It worked great on the meter. I can get a full tank by just tapping the dash. :) Makes fueling up a lot cheaper.

    i read on another sight that the plug in the back of the cluster gauge could simply need to be unplugged and plugged back up ..but i dont know how to remove the cluster.....:confused::cool:

    @87 BLACKBEAUTY if u have questions about removing the cluster i can help u over the phone its much easier for me that way, if you just wanna try the method by unplug n plug the fuel gauge to see if it works its fairly simple feel free to call me @ 901-605-3282 be glad to help you . Dennis
