for me with fast classic theres no way to have timing changes for 1st-2nd-3rd , at the boost i ran i'm fixed at 20.0* with dual nozzle razor , iron heads

a/f was 10.8 bottom of gear and 10.4-10.5 near top of gear ...went through traps at 6200 ,28"worn mt drs and th400 picking up solid 26+mph at the top half of the track ,

the boost on the 133.9 pass i had programmed
    1st stage at 22psi for 1.5 seconds
2nd stage 25psi for 4.99 second (up to the 1/8th mile marker)
3rd stage 24 psi for the rest of run
the controller generally runs .4 to .2psi under the programmed target
    snyderjw1 likes this.

Nice. That is moving with low boost and timing.

    Thanks paul. :)

I'm running a TT 5.7 chip, logging wideband O2, EGT, and alky pressure on PowerLogger. I have a wideband TT chip but the tune on my 5.7 chip is right on so I want to find the sweet spot and then I'll go to the wideband chip.

On those runs I was only running 22* in 1/2 and 19* in 3rd. A/F was 10.3-10.4 at the top of the gears with EGTs in the low/mid 1400s. I was trying to pull some fuel but I didn't pull enough. I only make small changes so I'll have to go a little more next time between runs. I lowered the timing to 19* in 3rd to be a little safer as I turned up the boost. About 24-25psi in 3rd. So, a fairly conservative tune being on the rich side with low timing. I want to bring the A/F up to a solid 10.5 and have the EGTs in the mid 1500s, a little faster but still some safety margin with the low timing. My car runs fastest at about 1600 EGT and the A/F closer to 11. I also changed over to Autolite Racing AR 3934 spark plugs, which have a non projected tip, are pre-gapped at .028, and have a cut back electrode. I was using AR103s, they are a projected tip but still have the cut back electrode. Not sure what the non projected tip equivalent of AR23 plugs are for iron heads.

Put me on the list if you want.

11.327 @ 118.42 with a 1.60 60'. Full weight 3700lb. car, working everything. 93 octane Sunoco and single nozzle meth.

Car has just under 126K on it and it's still on the original motor, I think. Haven't had it apart so I can be 100% sure.

Gonna do some suspension upgrades over the winter and move to TA headers and see what happens.

    Scott.

Too bad you didn't give the tickets to Al and me. Maybe that would get Al to start working on G bodies instead of B bodies.
