Did some 700-4R's use the 200-4R converters

if so what years.

and the later 700s can use the 4.3 converter for a cheap upgrade

It was a 27 spline up till 1986 and some early 1987,then went 30 spline.

I was thinking it was 85, I could be wrong though

It is real hard to say for sure as these trans. have been around so long you could a 1985 that has a newer trans in it than what came from the factory.

Late 84 the 30-spline was introduced, all 85 should be 30-spline Input.

700R4 85 up 30 spline. 4L60s can be 27 or 30.
