Guys.... I took a look at my chip and it says prom Id 0144. Is that stock for our GN's?

Yes, 0144 is the correct prom id for a stock 87 GN chip. However that doesn't prove that it is a stock chip, as changes can be made but the ID numbers left alone. Look at the chip label and see if it reads ACXA094.
