I will probably limp mine out there and have a burger. 3rd gear is not in good shape. Taking it to JD this next weekend to start the process.

I think it is a great idea to get the Austin / SA folks to show but to quite honest its just too damn hot, maybe we can when it cools off??

I’m up for it, let’s make sure we have enough lead time so everyone can plan for it. However, I do think it is a good idea to let it cool off some…..at least get below 100! LOL….. Never thought I would look forward to winter time. Has anyone ever been to the Castroville gathering before? I understand it is the second Friday of the month at the chevy dealer.

I finally dropped mine off with JD last weekend to get the Extreme Automatics stage 2 trans installed. Looking forward to some meets and track time asap.

JD is in the Houston area. He does build transmissions but I bought one from Lonnie Diers ( Extreme Automatics Where winning is easy ) (1 year full warranty and then $350 to rebuild for the life of the trans as long as you own it - can't beat that) up in Ohio and JD is doing the install and a few other odds and ends. Not sure when I'll be getting it back, but I will let you know as it progresses! Looking forward to a cruise - and I've got a couple 'Living Social' coupons for Biff's so I'll have to buy you guys a burger when I can get over there!

Sounds good to me. It seems like every time I turn around I have got something going on with the car too, Head gaskets, ported heads, cam, timing chain, ect. Hopefully next week the wideband will be here and I can get that installed with the new chip. That should do it until I kill the tranny..LOL then that will be next.
