applied engineering chip question

    my 86 t came with 2 chips . I dont know if either were stock. One is made by applied engineering and says "pit bull" on it. the other says B.O.M. any idea what these chips change from stock.:confused:confused:

    Well, the stock chips were bad enough with their relatively high timing, the Pit Bull chips were FAR worse. Technology has advanced FAR beyond those chips. Never heard of the BOM chip. Modern day alternatives are FAR better AND safer.

    the pitull is real aggressive with the timing. I think it was like lower to mid 20's which is wild for a pump gas set up
