Call or text Mike at 949 322 9333 for more info. Please, no dreamers or joyriders. Pics: https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos/...lbums/5687652006104777857/5687652025396208338 I am open to partial trades and cash. Must be a combination of cash and a vehicle that totals my asking price. Sorry, but a $7k car plus your $2k isn't going to do it. Open to all reasonable offers. Hands down, this car will not lose on the street to any other true Daily Driver. So here is the story. I have owned this car for about 5 years and I have spent about 3 years building it up to be the fastest street car possible. You will be hard pressed to find any daily driven street car out there that is faster! At this point in my life, I really don't need a ridiculously fast, high horsepower car anymore as I am trying to be one of those grown ups. If I don't get a reasonable offer, I will simply be throwing the car into storage until I get the right money. That being said, tire kickers need not respond! The car even won the "Best Sleeper Award" at a car show in Irvine, CA. Every part is well documented with receipts and every part was the absolute best quality that money could buy. The car is very solid and was built buy one of the top Buick shops in the country, (Mizzi's Automotive) At this shop in Northern California, they are known for building some of the country's best Turbo Regals, Grand Nationals, GNX's and classic hot rods. If you have any questions on the build specifically, please feel free to give Dominic a call at 707 429 8820. He will gladly answer any technical questions you might have that I might not be able to answer. I have owned several cars that performed faster than the 12 second quarter mile mark and this car is, by far, much faster than any of my previous cars. This car was built to run in the high 11 second range on pump gas and run deep into the tens on high boost. This car should be right around the 350-400hp mark to the rear wheels on pump gas and is able to push well into the 500+hp range on C16 and the boost turned up. Even on pump gas, this car will NOT stop spinning the tires until you get into third! The car also runs great on pump gas and gets very close to 20mpg when driven nicely. On a recent trip to northern CA the actually got 24mpg! Remote Start System 2 Alarms including a two-way pager system Also several kill switches hidden throughout the car This car would be a thieves nightmare. The only downside to the car is that it has not been restored to be pretty yet. The paint is an honest 6.5/10 and is completely original. There are a few dings and minor dents around the car which is to be expected from a 23+ year old car. The interior is also not in perfect shape. There is a tear in the front driver's seat on the bottom and the carpet is dirty and stained in some areas. The rest of the interior is in great shape, including the rear seats, headliner, dash and compartments. The trunk even has the spare tire, carpeting and tire cover! I purchased the car bone stock for about 10K several years back and I have invested well over $15,000 into the car over the last several years. A recent friend of mine sold his WE-4 for about 25K with a new paint job and a slightly less aggressive build. I am looking to get $18,000 for the car. If you are looking for a top notch, ultimate sleeper, that only goes up in value, then this is the car for you! With 4k into a paint job you could have one of the fastest and nicest looking cars around. Every car show I go to people always come up to ask about it. It is always either the only one there save for the rare occasion another Turbo Regal shows up. There is never more than 2 at any one place. I am not interested in giving joy-rides or test drives for tire kickers or hustlers, so please don't waste my time. If you have any questions, please call Mike at 949-322-9333 or e-mail me.
the cars is nice.... but to have a 18K car it also has to look nice as well.... your engine bay could have been cleaned up a bit and it would have sold.... it's not the big things that will sell the car.... it's all the little things. There is not a TR yet that I have seen that will touch my car..... but I have about 300hrs in my car..... and everything is new or refurbed..... put little time in it and you can sell it.... GLWS.... You will regret selling it 5yrs from now....
Right on for the advice. I guess I am just hoping that someone who is more interested in the parts and build is looking for a car like this rather than something shiny. And congrats on having a nice car. Thanks! I agree. But I am very confident in my car and the build. My last stop light jump was against a new CTSV and before that a Z06. Both did not end well for the other cars. If the car doesnt sell I will just put the bad dude rear end in, slicks, skinnys and get to work at the track. I just never seem to have the time anymore to play with it. =(
I have everything you have as fare as the motor goes..... I just did all the work myself.... so instead of paying for someone else to do it , i spent the money it would have cost to have some else build it , in parts. You learn to love your car when you spend that time with it(when you know it inside and out)..... 2days ago i was offer 25K for my car and thought that wasn't enough..... you would be hard pressed to find a thing wrong with my car..... under my car looks just as good as my top side..... I'm so proud of my car.... 25k was probley enough but how can you sell your baby.....? (I would have made 15k)
Right on for doing it yourself. I've built a few motors and cars myself over the years that have gone single digits in the quarter mile, no problem. I put plenty of time into the car, but when it came to building a Buick V6 I know that it is a lot more involved than putting good parts in, using your snap gauges and dial indicators. I've seen too many people who were great with SBC's and SBF's use the same approach and grenade their motors after only a handful of passes. That's why I humbled myself and looked around for the best builder I could find for what I was looking to do. The guy who built the motor has put together literally hundreds of these motors that range from street sleepers like mine to super low mileage show car GNX's to all out drag/staged motors. Reason I didn't do this one myself was that when it comes to making power with these cars, I know that the builder knew more than me. Plain and simple. I've personally seen the combo that he put together nearly identicle to mine (save for his DFI to my TT tune/chip) run in the nines and make the round trip to our local race track, which is about a 90mi round trip. The builder also holds a PSCA record from a number of years ago with a Buick motor he had built that moved the record almost 2 full seconds forward. Maybe you have done all of this great stuff too with your high end Buick shop that builds some bad dude stuff, or maybe you have cars shipped from all over the country just so they are worked on by you personally, just like my builder. If so, good job! The car has been, and always will be my baby, but I need to focus on my business. These are hard economic times for everyone and I am trying to buy a house and I could use every cent I can get my hands on. California is just too damn expensive! I hope this post makes you feel better about me selling my car, I appreciate your concern. Since we have the same parts, maybe send that guy who was going to buy your car for 25K my way and I will charge him less......? (I would make less than 15k)
