Looking to buy first GN, is this a good one?

item 280231790041 on eBay

I'm looking to spend $10-15k on an 87. Looking for nice paint, solid engine and trans. This one looks decent on eBay. What do you think it's worth? Know of any good ones for sale in the San Antonio area?

Thanks,
Tom

Looks really nice. Appears someone sank some money into it. Looks like those huge mufflers need to be moved away from the driveshaft. You can see the mark on the driveshaft where it rubs. I say its worth 12-13. Pictures well.

Thanks for the reply, I talked to him and he did all the body work at his shop but the motor work was done by the previous owner.

Tom, be very careful of northern cars. I wouldn't not "commit" to buying except for with an agreement that you inspect it before you pay.

Even being repainted, it looks to me like there's paint over rust around the rear end area.

I wouldn't buy a northern car with that many miles on it. they aren't "all" rusty.. but more than not.

Yeah it looks as if I should just hold of and wait for one that I can see in person. Know of any here in SA?

Sorry.. I don't know of any here. I know of one that might eventually go up for sale, but it will need paint.

I have one myself that needs paint and to be put back together.
