Hbc @ Classic Car Stampede-bellville

The Houston Buick Club will going to the 5th "Classic Car Stampede" in Bellville Saturday MArch 1st. We will meet at Sam`s Club parking lot on I-10 West & Hwy 6. We will pull out at 7:30 AM. Go up I-10 to Hwy 36, go north to Bellville. Registration is FREE!! , begins at 8:30. Show is from 9:00-1:00, awards given at 1:00. Trophy for largest car club attendance, we had 22 Buicks drive up last year. BE SURE TO PUT HOUSTON BUICK CLUB ON YOUR REGISTRATION SLIP. Door prizes, top ten awards, event t-shirts for sale, food. Market-on-the-Square for the wives & girlfriends . There were approx 350 classic cars & trucks last year, expecting more this year. Get there early.

87 GN, PT61, mototron 60#s .030 over, TRW pistons, ported and polished iron heads, with Manley 1.77, 1.50 valves, ported intake, 204/214, ATR headers, 2.5" exhaust, 3" ATR DP ,ebay fmic, moser axles, LT1 MAF, fuel mods, home built billet tranny and a 3400 CK 10.5. air bags and umi lowers CAs ATR rear sway bar, PAC alky kit, 1LE 36mm front sway bar, QA1 economy coil overs, Howe longer ball joints,bilsteins, Richmond 3.23s, eaton posi, ls1 brakes.

Dads 86 GN-ported heads, 204/214, ATR headers/exhaust, PT61, 60s, alky, 3400 9/11, ebay front mount (supporting mods...) 11.5 at 124.1 mph 24 psi.
modded 85 GN and now a new 87 T.

Yea, never fails, get the car running good and crap starts to break. Having tranny problems, know anybody that builds stout 200 4r's?

How many Turbo Cars can we expect from the "Brooks" collection? The only other person that I know with more turbo cars is E.J. Howe.

Thanks to all that came out, the HBC won the trophy for largest car club attendance . Also thanks to Jerryl & Alisa for driving my '85 to Bellville, could not drive both cars. Their GN is in the body shop. I emailed Dan the car show pictures & chili cook off pictures tonight, he should have them posted on the HBC website soon.
