Austin Emissions testing

How hard is it to pass the 'visual' part of the inspection here now? Car was in storage for a while and now that I have it running well I'm anxious to get it past the last hurdle - inspection.
I know I need a cat to pass the sniffer, I'm working on that...
But what about stuff like valve cover breathers, open element air filters, non-factory MAF? Do they care about that stuff?
My car is registered in williamson county and I live in cedar park, but I think I can get it inspected anywhere if I am not mistaken...

Thanks for the help!
-Brett

I don't think you'll have a problem. What there mostly looking for on a visual is of course the cat, tires good, exhaust out the rear etc. As far as under the hood I have about the same you do and I'm in the Dallas area.

I would say 99% of the people doing the inspections don't know what there looking at under the hood anyways. They don't know what belongs and what doesn't. I have never had a problem.
