It's really slim pickins in this area, there is only 3.

Jack Laswell in Rowlett
Billy Duke in Ft. Worth
Adi Glatz in Richardson

But there are plenty of Lone Star Performance Buick club members willing to help out a fellow club member, if you catch my drift. www.lspbc.org

What do you need done to the car?

BTW Welcome to Texas

reel him in Dave. He will need the help sooner or latter.
Of course let him know about the local Buick club if he is interested.

I put a new motor in it about two years ago and got shipped off with the military and it has been sitting in storage everysince. i would like to fine tune it and maybe one day get it ready for the track. And also I have some brake problems. I have the conversion brake system and the pedal gets hard and will not stop the car when the turbo comes on.
And before I forget, please let me know more about the Lone Star performance Buick Club.

LSPBC

Our first meeting of the year is Feb. 19th. The LSPBC is a great group of Buick owners who organize events so we can get together. We have a race scheduled once a month, as well as a car show. They let anybody join. Case in point would be me!!! You don't have to be good looking either. David is a good example of the clubs lienency in that department. HA Ha !!! In all honesty it's a great value. I tried to sign everyone in my family up. Still waiting for my youngest to turn 16 so I can sign him up. That's just my 3 cents.

I just moved back to Texas, (abilene) and bought my brother's 86 GN. I was wondering if anyone here knows of a GN mechanic close by.

Sure.......read the preceding. I think the 3 gentlemen listed above on this post cover the area.
Phone numbers for each mechanic's shop can be supplied by local Buick owners.
