sy-ty head casting numbers?
A friend of mine has a pair of complete heads in very good shape that he thinks may be sy-ty heads. Casting no. is 10144103. I don't know if they are or not, any input is greatly appreciated. They are for sale and I can provide pics. if needed. Thanks alot.

I just checked the casting number on the heads I pulled off of my wife's 1992 GMC Typhoon and the number is :10144103 so they would be Sy/Ty correct casting numbers for a set that would have came on these trucks.
Most people upgrade to the L35 heads or Vortech... Just wanted to let you know they are the right ones...  Scott~

As any other used part it's going to be worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
I don't know how rare that casting is or how important it is to have that exact casting. I am putting L35 heads on my wife's truck and leaving the stock heads sit. My ball park guess would be 50-100.00 a head? Once again.. just depends on how rare that casting is.. might want to do some research on syty.org. Hope that helps, Scott~
