4.3 Diesel

I just got a 83 Regal with a 4.3 Diesil

Would the block be the same as gas. May be stronger ???

What about the crank cast or steal ???

That is an Oldsmobile V6. Totally different from any other V6. Throw it away!

actually, if you havent scrapped that... some of those had serpentine belt setups for Olds on them. Any chance you still have that?

I know this thread is old... just saw it.

I don't mean to steal parts, but........
I'm in Macomb, MI, about 30 minutes away. I'd love to put a serpentine belt setup on my Olds. I didn't even know there was a setup like this.

I also have an '83 Regal, it is a normally aspirated V-6. I'm converting it to fuel injection.

The Olds is another project.

LMK if it if available.

its not a bolt on setup, just so ya know... uses a reverse water pump, and possibly different accessory brackets. We would like to use it for research to make a working setup to bolt on V-8 Olds motors (which is actually a project in progress with some of the Olds guys), but I can't reasonably pick it up anytime soon.
