4.1 Block question

Have a 25500016 block, 4 billet main caps. As I look at the block it only has one Oil pickup boss. I thought they came with two locations (middle and front) i don't see the middle one on my block. I don't see a middle (stock location) one. first pic is front and second is middle.

Only a stage 1 or a stock block has the pickup at the #2 main position. This area get machined away for a stage 2 block and the front pickup location is machined for a pickup.

This is a good thing.....with most larger stroke cranks the rods interfere with the stock oil pickup passage. Clearancing the block breaks into the oil pickup passage.
