Stage II block identification

can anyone tell me how to tell the difference between an off center and on center block

Number 25500153 is on-center. Also, if it has any cross-bolted mains, it's on-center.

The easiest way that I can tell is that the on-centers have the oil feed on the top of the motor. But I can wrong.

That is not reliable, I have seen a 153 on center with internal oiling, I believe it was an indy lite engine.
