Stage Block Question

How can you get a Stage I or II out off a 3.8 (109) block??? sorry for the dumb question, im still learning alot about this cars, and every day is a learnind experience........ thanks to any one that takes there time to explain this to me......

A Stage block is a different casting/block.

thanks alot..... i actually went on to the gnttype web page, where they have article and pictures about the stage motors.... now i know, they are a diffrent breed of engines from are stock "109s"....... thanks alot.....

They are a heavy duty,stronger Buick Motor Sports racing block used in indy cars-dirt track racing etc. they have 14 bolt heads,4 bolt steel mains,stronger metal tensil strength, and also alittle heavier in weight.
