Solid roller vs. Hydraulic roller cam
Is there any advantage for running a solid roller over a hydraulic roller cam-can they run up to higher rpms? -can they use the same roller lifters?

I used a solid flat tappet cam when I upgraded from my 218/218 comp cam. Even though these 2 cams were not rollers the solid cam made a huge improvement on my car's performance. I was using a 109 block. It went from running 98 miles in the 1/8 mile to 104 miles in the 1/8. Same boost and same combo except cam, lifters and valve spring upgrade.
