stage 2 block part #

#2500179 this part # block is on e bay and the guy says its a indy block with a 8.5 deck is this a low deck block?

It's a boat anchor unless you have an Indy car you're trying to restore. I had a friend that aquired 2 of them when he bought up the Buick parts from a local shop after the owner passed away. I told him to throw them away. I honestly wonder if the one on Ebay might be one of those blocks. He had one that was missing a main cap.

thanks turbo dave its nice to be able to get info from all you knowledgeable buick guys and although i am not new to racing i am new to the stage stuff and there is a lot of pitfalls with this so thank you robby
