I just wanted to post a quick get well wish for Nick Micale. I called his house yesterday and his wife told me he was sleeping after having his gall bladder removed. I didn't get too many other details but she made it sound like he's recovering well.

i didnt want to put nicks surgery on the board since i wasnt sure if he wanted people to know.anyways i talked to him a few hours before he went in to surgery and he said it was a simple operation.anyways GET WELL SOON NICK

I wish that I could go through any operation and not even know of it. That would be kool. Thanks for the "get well soon" even though it be a bit premature. Get well soon Nick & God Bless Nick and Lou both, Nick for the operation & Lou for putting up with all of us turbo brick people over the years. Now where's the 21 y.o. female nurse with my ice cream. I put the "female" designator in there just so Pill just doesn't get too excited.

Thanks guys for all the kind words and good wishes.

This was not anticipated, but seems it was worthwhile. Never having had someone probe and cut inside my body is an experience I could have done without, but left alone it could have been very serious. The nagging pain that has been in my back for a long while is now gone.

Am off the pain meds, so I have a few left over if you need them Brian! I am on my feet, no problem, but it may be a week or 2 before I am bending over a hood or crawling out from under a GN!
