Phoenix area

We are moving from Chicago to the Phoenix area this summer. I am wondering what shops are decent in that area in case I need some work done on my 87 GN, ie: major work like something I cant do in the garage. I am on the fence right now if should keep my car or maybe sell it? If I keep it I may use it as a daily driver since I dont have to worry about salt in the winter anymore.

I know the pavillions in Scottsdale is a cool weekend hang out. Are there any other things that go on for Buicks around Phoenix? One thing that will is nice that we will only be 15mins from Firebird raceway

Any info would be great.

Your fortunate to have a good Buick expert in your area his name is Nick Michale. He's not too good looking but I hear his work is 1st class. Look him up under vendors. Lou

Keep It!!!!!

there is strong fleet of TR in the PHX area, you'll be sorry if you sell it,
you'll have 2 tracks to race at. one south ( firebird) and one north (speedworld), yes pavillions is a fun meeting, but there are others too,
DON'T SELL IT!!!!!!!!!!

good luck, and enjoy the weather.

Yeah I really don't wanna sell it but I also can use the cash. But I look at the muscle cars I have had in the past and what the prices are now for those cars and its ridiculous. And being that the GN is now 20 years old and considered a classic it really makes me want to keep it. Its definitely my favorite car of all time. I have a 10sec mustang also but nothing beats the comfort of the Buick My Buick needs a little body work done to it which I wont be able to afford for a bit if do keep it.

How long before you guys think the GN's will really start to take off price wise? I would hate to sell mine with the hopes of getting another one at some point and then not be able to afford it at that time.

The silver/white TR that was at the picks event is Nick Micale's. You should of come by the pits and introduced yourself!

There's usually a few of us racing at Speedworld on the weekends. Anywhere from 8 second to 12 second cars. I was there yesterday shaking down a new combo.

6 to 10 months before our house is built, so we wont be out there for a bit. I am sure I will meet some of you then around the track or at the cruise spots.
