anyone know a 10 second gn that wants to eat some nova for dinner or not who knows? My buddy has never raced a gn other then me, when i was pretty much stock he destroyed me after 50mph, but I used to get the jump on him rofl ta60 with 3800stall and a stock motor was instanly fast 0-60, i had 8 peice rear suspen kit too, my 0-60 was pretty quick but thats all I had. Anyways Its the 454 nova with, alum heads, single carb, no nos, all motor, 4 link suspen, fuel cell'ed. The blue one i posted on in the picture thread. I wanted brent to give him a shot, but once the t67 came his motor went byby. Id love to get this on video. Ive been trying to find some z06's for him, but no one bits so far. He doesn't drive it much anymore cus of work, and when he does he never gets any action. Any takers wanna pop my best friends GN racing cherry good? My buddy is named Tommy, and his nova is sweet. Ive know this kid for over 7 years and is good people, he's very very mellow, but knows what the F he is doing and is super modest and humble it too(double threat). He has done ALL his own work, motor, trans, and suspension. We havn't been to the track yet, but I would say its faster then 11's, my educated and fair guess. Besides we just wanna have fun, no fast n furious games or drifting. Just a pull or two to see how fast she REALLY is, then after a beer or two. Or we can just wait till my car is done, to make a video, but that will take some more time Me and dad are remodling the garage and going to coat it, then pull the GN so we can start workign on it Im pretty stoked! sounds interested to any so cal gns call my cell or pm me! Doesn't have to be soon either, whenever. As casual as possible. ACAP!

anyways irwindale tomarrow sounds cool ill probably be there

did 5 runs tonight...

frist run was a 6.59 at 105mph 1.51 60ft..
then 3 runs in the 6.60's wth high 105 mph bad 60fts.

last run was a 6.54 at 106.29 with a 1.47 60ft..

thank god i'm getting the MPH now, i think with 28in slicks i can pick back up 2mph.. the 29.5 slicks are not working for me.. if you know anyone looking for 29.5 x 10.5 MT slicks i have some for sale

nice chatting with PeteGN and Mark XXX.. and the Hit Man

car still had some room with tuning, ran around 27 psi with 15psi launches..

watch out Fontana Feb 10th.....

Good runs. I saw them all. Nice light on the last run too. I swear I've never seen a GN redlight. You guys definately take your time on the tree. When are you going to dial in that rear sway bar? I bet if you soften it up a little it won't be so wiggly the first 60ft. But, what do I know?

my rear end is also at the stock angle. i'm going to adjust it a couple degrees. i'm going to play with all that during the 2 week break between Fontana..

Yea i was playing with spooling it up before setting the trans brake to get the boost up.. yea it was a .862 light, maybe i'll start playing with Pro Lights

thanks for the comments

Neg 7 deg is what I run. Have a buddy watch the tilt of the 3rd member under
load, determine how much movement, and add a deg. I'd try softening things up first though. Progressive rate is optimal. Imagine having half the weight you do now in the rear and that's my situation.

couldnt make it out last night i finally got my T to my job, started piecing it back together, hopefully ill pop in the rod and main bearings today, and have her running by next week. i still got to get my chip flashed since i upgraded to a bigger cam, hopefully be ready for the dyno runs.

PS and to top it off on the way over here my rear wing came off on the freeway, and had no idea till we got to work that really sucks
