I am going to try something new here, I am going to ask a car question, because thats what these car boards are for.
So, the question is who is running dual fans, where did you find them, and who made them? I have heard that some makers blow fuses, and others are ok. Any help would be great. Thanks, Andrew

Maybe this is the only post on this forum that won't get locked.
I'm running Spal dual 11" fans I got from some ebay seller's store. I use Caspers wiring harness to make it all work. I used to have the Ramchargers/Intrepid fans that most everyone uses. IMO they suck because mine crapped out after a year. I used a Racetronix harness with that. I thought about running an F body dual fan setup. You can get them cheap and Caspers makes a plug and play harness for Buicks. Whatever fan you choose run a dual relay harness from Racetronix or Caspers and you won't have to worry about blowing fuses. The factory wiring cannot handle the load of 2 motors reliably.

I was looking at the fan set-up on GbodyParts.com. The set up is 165 and comes with the wire harness from Caspers also has the High-low switch. Didn't know anything about them, so I figured I would ask. Does anyone have any info RE: those fans?

Maybe hold hands with the others. Help lou build your motor. Post in other sections that need your expertise, such as tech, or maybe politics.

Ramchargers went out of business either 1 or 2 years ago, but there might be somebody else that makes, sells, and / or distributes the same or similiar fan set-up. Maybe the "Parts Wanted" or "Parts For Sale" section?

So much for talking about FANS for CARS!!!! LMFAO. You guys kill me.
Looks like the set from Brian on G-BodyParts.com are gonna work the best. A lot of people have been using them with F-Body Rads and an Ext. Tranny cooler with nice low coolant numbers.
