Just got offered 30K for my GN

I'm still shakeing. Two hours ago, I was out cleaning the garage, and talking to my buddy Jed. I had the GN in the driveway. A car slowly drives buy then stops. Window comes down. Driver says, "Is that thing for sale?" My first thought is to say something smart-ass like, I'll give up my GN when they pry my cold dead hands from the steering wheel. But I just said "no". He replyed "are you sure?" I then said "well I guess anything is for sale if the price is right. You can take a look at it if you want". After a quick look over the car, he told me his name was Tom, and asked how much I'd want for it. I'm realy not interested in selling it, so I figured I'd just blow him out of the water with a high price. I figured that $30,000.00 would be plenty of dough to send him on his way so I could finish cleaning my garage. After I thought I had dashed his hopes on owning my car with what I thought was a pritty steep price, we chated about the GN and other cars for about fifteen minutes. As he was leaving he said that he was doing a refi on his house and was pulling some money out. He'd have the 30k next week and would give me a call.

So,

Should I sell? Or not...

What would you guys do?

For $30K, I would. Heck, I'd even personally deliver it to his home.

My guess is keep your GN locked up in a secure place, bet you a dollar he won't call, tire kicker like everyone out there, but if he does for $30k I let him have the damn thing.

And here I thought that I was the only tire kicker (TOLTK=The On-Line Tire Kicker) out there. Damn, guess that I am going to have to try harder to reinstate my first place lead in tire kicking.
Oh, congratulations too, Mike.

If this was any of the other nice cars that I've owned in my life, I'd be stoked to sell high. Unfortionatly, I'm haveing way to much fun with this brick, and I may not be able to find another one this clean again. Although, maybe I could buck-up and get a GNX?

$30 That's pretty damn good. That's a tough decision to make. I would have a hard time selling mine for that and I'm sure it's not as nice as yours. I'm just too attached.

When I posted this thread, I was 70/30 in favor of keeping it. Now I'm 50/50. Any one know of a GNX for sale for 30-40K?
