Nordy..

I'm probably not qualified to even comment, but it looks like you've got a mid nine second build already. Are you sure you need a bigger turbo?

Depends on what type of headers you have. 88 is max for 3 bolt.

Adapters are also available - Not quite as efficient as welding on a new one though...76GTQ is supposed to be good for 900hp. How fast you wanna go, 8's?

Mike,

I think the turbo you have is all you need for a stock block motor. There are guy's running TSM going mid nines and quicker with a 71 GTQ. If anything your 76 GTQ is already on the big side. The only person I know of that tried to run a larger turbo was Ryan Guy in the pacific northwest. He put an 88 on his. It didn't work very well.

so, what about the other question i put out.. do you think a 35shoot would help it out on the spool up.. plus i can use it to spray on the intercooler.

The best thing you can do is get some seat time in your own car when you get it back. Then you can go from there to figure out how to blow that 109 block up. NOS 250 shot with a 88 BB turbo and then you can MAYBE get your hands dirty on your own car when you pick up the crank off the track.

Robert,

You crack me up. Don't be too harsh to Mike. It's not his fault that he has too much spare cash. Mike a 35 H.P. shot of NOS will definately help spool the turbo. With the 76 GTQ and nitrous you will be able to find the limit of your combo.

He's only jealous because your rich and good looking. Just FYI, Robert does have a Stage II powered GN. Once he works the bugs out of it he should have a 9 second ride.

and to answer your question yes a 35 to 50 shot of NOS would definetly help you spool that turbo to cut better lights.
