Anyone going?
I think I'll watch for a bit then make a pass later on in the evening when it gets cooler, then get kicked out again.

a buddy 's friend is running his turbo porsche
(Yea ,I know it ain't black) this guy is nuts, last time out broke BOTH half shafts, now has plans for bigger turbos etc, so wants a base line...... I plan to watch the carnage........

[/QUOTE)See you out there with the TT V/8 car hope to run some mid 5's this time if all goes well. I will be driveing it this time. Just a little concerned about the short shut down area. Expect to go about 130 mph.

Anybody have a website addy for Irwindale track, or it's official name, as I might come out direct from work, what time does it start, how much for spectators? & so forth

$10 for spectators, off 605 fwy , just south of 210 fwy, exit at arrow hwy, around 5:00 pm tech starts, 6:00 pm races start see ya there!

Oops, can't make it this afternoon/evening. Our overtime was cancelled today, so I had to leave work early, and the 605 was blocked up on the 91 about 2 miles. Hope that everybody has fun & gets good time slips.

On my way. Brent SORRY i didn't get the video in time to bring to the track. I'll have it for you as soon as I can get my computer friend to put IT on my computer, then we'll figure out a way to send it too ya. Ill probably just burn it on both a DVD-R ready for movie play, and a CD-R so you can have to hard copied file in mpeg format to play with on your computer.
Come on prius, show me that 45mpg @ 80mph lets roll!
