Talking New's Flash brought to you by Lou's Auto

After wicked GN layed down that 8 second number at irwindale last night which brought the crowd to it's feet. Rumour has it that the BGNRA & Buick Motor sports has pick up sponsorship & a contract is said to be in the works. The crew will consist of ( ledzeppac & nordyracer ) with renowned promoter Gary Wells managing marketing affairs. Official announcement & commencement to be held at donut derelicts on Sat. Remember you heard it here first.

I have it on good authority........

that chevota is inspecting all the parts very thoroughly, each and every little one, to see what it needs to make it faster/ more reliable,
( as if 10.04 with stock block isn't fast enough!)
who cares how long it lasts, no one wants to be known as the slow guy!
( yea ,but it looks good!, BFD!)

wax never made anything that much faster!

if you don't break something, you aren't trying hard enough.

ain't this fun???

please remember i have owned this car since early 2000 I will say this again over and over, if it was in my blood as you so much claim i would be at the track every thursday like every other hardcore drag racer out there trying to make thier car faster until it comes apart in little pieces, I did not buy this car to make it blistering fast but to make it fun and reliable as it should be, so far 6 years of 20plus pounds off boost and still holding together i am very pleased with that..

I would like to keep my car in one piece and not inspecting parts on the floor, 12.55 which BTW was done on a fat tune and a blistering 1.96 sixty foot due to tire spin and sucky track is not too bad for a street car, true wax doesnt make a car fast but it sure makes it look really pretty, i go by my own saying which is "speed gets you killed", "wax and shinny armor all tires gets your laid" amen...

I have no doubt in my mind that breaking into the 9's is right around the corner for Scott, with all of the work done by himself. That's quite an honor to uphold.
On the other hand, Harold's GN is probably one of the nicest around for factory paint, especially. Both serve different purposes, with no one car being necessarily better than the other. Scott's does look like the Bic bannana, though. retty fast for a bannana.

Gary make that (WAS around the corner) since the motor came apart into little pieces before he hit the 9Sec mark and now he is counting Nuts and bolts on the ground like a squirrel, it maybe a while before he tries again..and yes you are right my GN is one of the nicest around and i like to keep it that way, thanks for the compliment and likewise your T is if not the nicest in town.

wiked.

In all fairness to harold I watched his run and I agree with his assement of the car it was fat going down the track and his 60 foot was bad.But now lets remember this was his first time at the track and which one of us did not have butterflies the frist time we pulled it to those lights? I think everybody should try thier car at the track at least once it gives you a place to start from. If you want to go fast then keep working at it but I think there is enough room in the Buick World for guys who just want thier car to look good.Thats my 2 cents worth.
