60 Lb Mototrons anyone?

I Know Tim and I were looking into upgrading injectors and I wanted to go with the 60 LB Mototron since I currently run them in my GTP and they are flow matched and easy to tune. Pluse they are probly the biggest injectors you could use on the stock ECM/PCM before you have to change the drivers on the computer........ now Im just throwing this out but I was thinking if we get a "group" order (ie ordering more than 6/12 injectors) maybe we could get them @ around $300-$310 shipped? I had bought mine last year in Feb from Full Throttle @ $310 to my door but since then they have went up in price.....

So if anyone wants to get a set (6) for their Turbo Buick lets get a list together and maybe Gary (I hate to volunteer you Gary but it seems like you know the venders a whole lot better than me) or I will email several venders and see what the best price is we could get. anyone interested let me know and sorry for discussing "business" on this forum but Id figure id just bring it up. If Im out of line just let me know! Thanks!

Victor

Not a problem, Victor. I think that a vendor will need more sets sold to bring the price down than we can bring about. But I will look into it. I do not think that there is a lot of profit in injectors for the vendors. Plus, I think that Tim has already bought them, cutting him out of being one of the numbers to help bring the price down. I also don't know that I want to wait as long as necessary to get a response back from the vendors, but I will look into it. Thanks for the suggestion. The most willingest vendors that I know of that might be interested in this and already handle Mototrons are Mike & Marianne Licht at Full Throttle Speed & Style and Brian Weaver at GBodyParts.com.
Vic: are you looking to buy another set also?

Well I do want to buy a set (6) for the GN becuase I dont want to switch them over from the GTP, plus the wife is racing the GTP this Friday and I doubt she wants me pulling parts off her car to install on mine. I figure 60lbs is good for mid-high 10's so they should be good for a long time...... maybe we coulg get this thread over to the "General" topic area of this forum to see if we have more takers?..... unless you dont want to deal with more people?

Vic:
I E-mailed a copy of this thread to Full throttle Speed & Style and Brian Weaver at GBodyParts and we will see what we hear back from them. I don't mind going nationwide, but I think that it will be better to have a quantitive requirement to work with first. I will let everybody know what I hear from them.

If you guys had wanted to do this earlier, I would have

but, I got mine from GBodyparts and it was 330 to door, since I got a brake conversion kit they just said we'll throw them in the same box. I will keep the powermaster, but just not on my car. If I ever sale my car, NOT, but then you never can say never, but I will keep it just in case.

Vic:
I got an E-mail back from Brian Weaver at GBodyPartd and he advised that he had to check with the supplier and I have never heard back. I think that I am going to purchase a set from either GBodyParts or Full Throttle Speed & Style at their advised price of $330 to my door, shipping included. In my case, it is easier to do the extra $10 or $20 than to do the waiting.
