first off, thanks for letting me post this on here Wells:

I'm in the market of selling my L.. it's a 1 owner Black 03.. i purchased it in Maryland when i lived there, it had 3 miles on it..i currently live in the Long Beach CA area and she has approximately 53,000. this truck is clean, it has NEVER been in a accident nor been repainted. no dents, only small stone chips on the front chin from highway use. the bed has been used so there are marks and chips. i drove it across country and it drove like a dream.. I'm not looking for a trader because i'm in the market for large SUV.. She has a lower 4 pound pulley, JDM cat back system and a K&N. 2 gauge piller mount with boost and air /fuel auto meter (which i can remove).. i have all the stock parts pulley, airbox that will go with the truck.

I do have a small system installed but i can easly remove it if you don't want it.. Apline head unit DVD with XM, 500watt Amp, 12 sub and tweeter and mids.. i have the stock head unit 6 disk that can be installed..

She has a a LoJack system( $900) installed that will go with the truck.
Two new rear tires were installed approximately 3000 miles ago and new brakes were installed (powerslot rotors fronts and stock back with new pads)

This is not a "race" truck but my "tow" truck.. it has been down the 1/4 3 times in one night netting a 13.0 at around a 105mph and once down the 1/8 here in CA. This truck has NOT been ragged out, trust me

i just did a complete tune up replacing all the spark plugs and fuel filter, she runs great.. I'm truly going to miss this truck, shes my baby (well second to my Grand National)

asking $24,000 firm on the price..

well, i tracked down a Black Excursion and no bits on the Lightning, i can't believe it.. i guess she will be traded in , i hate to do it but it has to be.. any last bites?? 22k now, with everything...

The Lightning is SOLD.. a guy who has a nice collection (str-10, 04 Lightning race track) took her. He's sending me the funds tomorrow, so hopefully everything will go smoothly with the transaction..

yea i know.. i was so up in the air about keeping it.. the wife wasn't pressuring me but i didn't want a 5th vehicle right now.. Now i'm dealing with the Maryland DVM on sending me my title .. i titled everything when i moved here all at once 7 tags and paperwork.. well, i guess i didn't have the md title for the lightning at that time (i'm getting to old).. well, i went to sign over the title and i couldn't find it .. so now i have to wait 10 days for MVA to make me a new one... i feel bad for the guy on wants the truck.. he was going to wire me the cash today, but now we have to wait..

its a sickness that there is no cure for, except more cars !!!
are you aware of the gas prices, and you want a big what?

the only reason i would add a 5th car to the list is if i could track down a really nice low mile gray T .. i'm dreaming, the wife would kick me out for sure, if i came home with another buick "money pit"..

thats why i'm going with a diesel.. better MPG all the way around .

if you want to hit the water, feel free to come down here and pick me & the boat up ..
