Seal Beach Classic Car Show: Sat, 22 Apr., 06

For anybody stranded next Sat with nothing to do the annual Seal Beach Classic Car show is next Saturday, 22nd Apr., 2006 in Seal Beach on historic Main Street running west from Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) to the ocean. This is a great show and it is free. Lots of post '72 and invitation only cars.
They advise that the show officially starts at 10:00 A.M., but they generally start placing the cars on Main street about 8:00 A.M. or so. Most of the resturants/coffee shops open about 7:00 or so. look for me in line about 7 or so waiting for O'Malley's to open. Good breakfasts, good bloody Mary's. Good food is also available from the HomeTown Cafe, directly across the street. No alcohol. Get there early for parking. Best and most accessible parking is directly across Pacific Coast highway from Main street in the residential area. This show will take some of the edge off waiting for Dyno Day. Unfortunately this is a post 72 & invitation only show, so you will not see any of our own, turbo Buicks & TTA's. Still a very worthwhile show. Generally a few early Buicks there.

The flyer was down when I checked, but you can go to "events" to confirm the info above.
Hope to see some of you there.
