Cool Stage II parts?

Hey Lou,

Do you have any Stage II stuff up in the rafters that you want to get rid of? If so drop me a line.

Cool

Damn Lou,

I didn't know you had to have a permit from the BGNRA to work on Buicks!! I never had one, I guess I've been in violation since day one. So why are you really sellin' off all your goodies? Did you get threatened with a lawsuit for defination of character or something? I only got a cease and desist letter.

I have be banished by the Steve Hurst foundation for being disrespectfull & not giving him money. He is now encourageing anyone who inquires to getting work done to
go see the Bogosian's. I am on good terms with them & will continue to be. Also there have been claims by him that all I am I owe to him. Tom Robinson is who made that club & gave it class. When he left it has not been the same since. On that note anyone calling me for free advise & help that mentions BGNRA will not be gaining any points with me. The secret here is I have 40 years automotive backround & can do most anything related to that I choose. I don't need any jack off's like hurst or any idiots that support him. When I was giveing my time & money to support him & his casino habit I was a hero now suddenly I'm no good? Am I pissed !You bet! Regards Lou

Is it just me or does it seem like the club and the TR scene in general here in So Cal have been slowly unraveling like a cheap suit over the last few years? Maybe it's just fewer cars on the road, or maybe it's just a So-Cal thing where most people like to do their own thing? I don't know, but all I know is there are damn few TR get togethers, club sponsored or otherwise.

I'm not a BGNRA member and haven't been for a number of years now. In fairness though, on the occasions I've seen Steve he was always decent and friendly to me.

Lou, you wouldn't happen to have a NOS right rear wheel well molding for GN would you?

Lou, thy name is Treachery! How soon you forget all the times that Steve brought all those people to eat your food! Knave!

What's 40 dollars a year to you? A week's worth of KY? A dozen AA batteries for your Anal Invader? A small matter, indeed.

How can you put a price on fabulous repasts at El Torito - near the airport, no less! Oh, but for you to have been there when Steve brought Dave McClellan to speak to all of 15 people, raising his voice to be heard over the patrons in the adjoining bar. Of course that was after the riveting Amsoil presentation. I tell you, no one can read off a brochure like that woman, and she missing all those teeth! What club brings you that kind of excitement?

Or the high-powered events at LACR, when almost a dozen cars would show up! Ingrate! Listen to The Steve, and look inside yourself!

It's a bitter, bitter man you've become, Lou.

Ben and others, some of it just might be due to the fact that it takes sooooo fricken long to get anywhere here in SoCal and also we are pretty spread out going from Ventura to San Diego making the logistics even more difficult. Given that at any one time only about half the cars in SoCal are ever running at the same time limits the possibilities even further. It sucks, but hey at least we don't get snowed in for half the year, right?

Lou, I didn't quite get what you were saying! I just have to ask you one thing though, does the BGNRA control Lou's Automotive or does Lou's Automotive control Lou's Automotive? I know it sounds like a chicken and the egg thing, but something to ponder.

Sincerely,

Racer (not a member) X

Thats a real good question.
For the longest time it was the IRS. Landlord, workmans comp, insurance company, employees etc. I have now told them all to take a hike & last but not least was Hurst. My business has served all those bums well. but no more!

S*** happens and when someone like steve hurts starts telling people to go to the bogosian brothers because they are the best S*** that walked the earth, it is going to hurt your business, lets not forget that Lou was doing what the bogosian brothers are doing now back in the early 90's , Lou is trully one of the best in the business when it comes to TR's he may have his bitter times but once you get know him and give him a chance he always come through no matter what, i am not getting on no ones side but the whole TR scene here in LA is slowly dying, I also find it hard to get together with a few TR owners and go for a drink a burger or just shot the S***, the only one that i have done things with in the past has been Ben and i hope we continue to do it.

Boy and to think I used to go to Lou because he knew what he was doing. Now that it is not popular to go there what will I do ? . I gave up on the BGNRA a long time ago. Don't worry Lou I will give you a rare special secret pass to work on my cars.
