October 24th, SDR
(Sorry for the late notice)
We are doing it again this weekend at Silver Dollar Raceway. Thats right folks, Street Lethal invades the quiet town of Reynolds Georgia to decimate their 1320 feet of concrete and asphalt in a no holds barred day of tire melting automotive torture (I need that monster truck jam guy's voice to do the 'Sunday Sunday Sunday' thing). Rules are pretty much as they always are. Fairly light tech, payout based on number of cars, trophies, etc... We have a 'less than 8' class for those with less than 8 cylinders (hint hint), we've added a motorcycle class this year and we've got a pretty nice crew shooting for the 'Quick 8', as well as the returning champions trying to take the title of King of Street Lethal's Grudge Wars. Gates open at 9, start racing at 10, run until 4, then go home. $10 to get in, another $10 to race. More info, check out www.street-lethal.com or e-mail me at chris@street-lethal.com Hope to see you guys there! Chris

Is this in place of nov. 6-5, or another track date?

This is actually a different event. We are an American hotrod club of anything fast and built here. Which includes but is not limited to Mustangs (we started out as a Mustang club, then realized that we were collectively losing the fight to the imports in participation, so then we moved to an all American car club), Camaro's, Vettes, GN's, GNX's, GTO's and classic iron of any kind that is stout (Chevelle's, Nova's, Mopars, etc...).
Usually we net about 8 - 12 GN's down for our events, and you can ask anybody who's been, (Turbo Buick Club of Atlanta has been really good to us in the past) we put on a hell of a day of racing. Hope to see you there! Chris
