possible to pass w/o a cat??

is it?? i was reading in some posts and it seems like people
have done it before.

Some places it's possible. Smog laws/limits vary widely from state to state.

But, pass in CA without a cat. NOT EVEN a chance.

I was 1 GPM in HCs from passing the MD treadmill test w/o a cat

I have a gutted cat on my car and we are the second strictest emissions test in the country behind CA. I passed the loaded dyno test. Although it wasnt with flying colors I did pass with some room to spare. I think its possible if you have your car running optimal. Good luck either way!
