san antonio?
I'm hearing rumors of emissions testing starting in san antonio soon.... anyone know more about this? anyone think I can tweak an ME-R to pass?

Just needs paint!!! newest mods: nos fuel sol type 7th squirter, te45a (67mm gt wheel), precision fmic, atr rear sway, lt1 starter, .030" over with forged pistons, billet steel caps (#2/3), 224/224 flat tappet, double roller chain, .010/.010 crank, etc.

Good luck if that happens in SA.
The Emissions issue is why I went the T+ and extender route. Haven't tested since, but, I'm confident I can dial it in for the test, since the closed loop system is intact. No flame intended for the ME  I'd like to move back there someday Minit taco, Martha's, Mi Tierra, Margureta's and many, many more reasons to live there My first taxi ride there from the airport to Lackland, showed solid forest from Blanco road to Valley Hi....A bit different now.

emissions in texas
Dallas has strick standards. Rockwall county as of April 2003 has Dallas standards. I live in Hunt county and I am affraid we are next.
I think most if not all of Texas wil have emissions testing in about 3 years. Check out air check texas at arichecktexas.com http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/vi/act.htm Personally if it passes a tailpipe sniffer who cares what's under the hood.
