I will install TurboTweak's smog chip, change oil, go for a drive to warm everything up remove oil oil breathers. Any other advice needed when I install this chip ie fuel pressure setting, IAC setting?

Thanks

I don't know where you are at location wise, but Lou Czarnota at Lou's Automotive in Lake Forest can do a pre-smog check. I don't want to go a foul of smog so I genereally have mine pre-smogged prior to the actual visit to the Smog Test only station. HTH

Hey John:
I had my GN smogged yesterday and everything went fine. I did a fresh set of plugs, changed oil, installed the TT smog chip, set FP to 38 psi, installed the stock breather on the PS valve cover, installed the stock wastegate and hoses (removed the rjc controller), installed the stock up-pipe, and disabled the alky system. The last time I had it smogged, the tech said that the alky system wasn't kosher so I didn't make an issue of it this time.

Good luck with the test!

Charlie

Well, not really, Charlie, but it could be worse. See link: Page # 1, about post # 34 or so.

Happy Friday to everybody:

Talking Passed Smog

Used Mr. Eric Marshal's emissions chip. Set fuel pressure to 38 pounds. Drove around for about 20 minutes.

Nice products from Mr. Marshal! As a side note, I received my alky kit but have not opened it yet. Do I need to buy a 3 bar sensor? If so, any recommmendations as which one to purchase? TIA
