Do You need EGR to pass emissions?

Depends on the state and the limits. You'd need one in Kalifornia.

Here in East Tenn.... What's smog inspections???

I also passed withoout it here in NY But I do use a 3" Cat. Probally going to try without both this year.

Well I live in Michigan now but when i finsh school i am thing about moving to Georgia and i dont know about the emmisions laws they have there. Just in the process of rebuilding my engine and wtrying to figure out what to do about emissions

Hopefully some GA guys will pipe in. You're question can really only be fairly addressed by those in the area you're going to/in.
