OTC 4000 user directions

Can anyone email or fax (314-558-1822) them to me?

The book's about an inch thick. That and the fact that most of the operations to be able to use it for racing (which it was never meant to do) are undocumented procedures. I have a practically new one in the case, I don't even use anymore because I've forgotten most of the "special" steps.

That and the fact that it's an incredibly antiquated piece. Great for in the driveway troubleshooting, but sucks for performace monitoring!

Do you have the Pathfinder II cartridge? Here's a link to a manual on ebay that didn't sell...

eBay Motors: OTC PATHFINDER 2 MANUAL GENISYS MONITOR 4000E 4000 2000 (item 280241738270 end time Jul-06-08 07:00:00 PDT)

I agree with TurboDave, these old-school scanners are great for testing the basics (I use an OTC 2000) but they are too-little-too-late for all-out blasts. Dog-slow and way late to protect our precious head gaskets. Ppwerlogger all the way!
