Any info on wideband #'s

First off I know every car is different, but I couldn't help but wonder what most guys are seeing on the big end. I installed a new PLX wideband over the weekend, and was surprised to see how rich I really was. When I was tuning off the scanmaster i would shoot for 760-780mv on the big end. Same o2 and then adding the wideband, over the weekend I leaned it out to 10.5-10.7 and was surprised to see my scanmaster showing 722-730 with no knock and I felt I was still abit rich. I was thinking of tuning for around 10.8-11.0 on the wideband which would take me down to around 700-710 mv. Is everyone else seeing about the same? The narrow band is a new BOSCH, and I have been using them for a couple of years now. I just wasn't expecting to see that. Right now I am on 23lbs and I am shooting for 25lbs. Pump and Alky. I would like to play with getting some more timing in it. Maybe 26 in 1/2 and 22-22.5 in 3/4. I was just curious as to what everyone else found. The car is so much faster than it has been in the past, but I know this baby has more!! The new PTC kicks much a$$, as well as the 6152! Just having fun, finally making some serious ponies!

I know I about fell over when I saw the SM o2mv's!! I never in a million years would have tuned that low in the past. Now I'm gonna run it down to 11.0 and move from there. Thanx for the input!!

I doubt you'll find a rule of thumb for NBO2 sensor readings compared to WBO2 readings. There's just too much diversity in NBO2's. I will tell you this however, one of the worst brands of "one" wire NBO2's is the Bosch brand. I don't understand why, but they've plagued us for decades.

I wouldn't go any leaner than 11.0 if your spraying alky.

Oddly enough the Bosch WBO2's (like what comes in the PLX, and LC1's) are very high quality and generally very accurate.

You will be fine with 10.8 to 11.0 AFR.. When you have a W/B o2 and your running pump gas and alky you want to shoot for 10.8 to 11.0 at WOT. And the timing you would start alittle lower and slowly climb that up. But me personally, I think you will make more power with boost than timing! That way your still safe.

On my last car I was at 27lbs boost with a PT-70gtq running 21* timing at WOT on pump gas & methanol at 10.8 AFR . It was a Bear!
