lc-1 help

I installed the LC-1 and cannot get any signal. Nothing to the little LED and nothing to Powerlogger. I've got the red wire connected to the orange power wire out of the ecu. Blue and white to a ground out of the ECU. Yellow to PL. Black calibration to led and to switch. Other led to Grd. Can't see why I'm not getting power. Key is in ignition with ignition on. Thanks.

All are soldered. Maybe I'll have to get ahold of Innovative to see if there is a way I can check to see if the unit is working...

YEs. Below is what I followed from page 2...PL functioning fine, getting all readings, light is blinking on connection to ecu.

Hey Rick,
You say to tap the LC1 orange wire. And then run it to the #1 port. My LC1 does not have an orange.
Red goes to switched power
White and Blue to ground
Yellow not used for narrow band.
Brown wide band hooked up to the IO card
and
Black for the toggle switch.
Jeff

Turn on the ignition (engine off) and check to see if the O2 sensor is getting hot. It's a heated O2 sensor so you should feel it getting warm if there is any power at all.

Also, when I installed one of these on my 1981 Fiat Spider 2000 Turbo, I ended up having to use Analog output wire #2 for a signal. I forget which color it was. After I changed to the 2nd analog output wire for the signal, everything worked just fine. That's all I've got.

I still have the car and I'll take a look at the wiring tonight and post what's going where.

Best,

Thanks Eric, got that part figured out, finally. My error. Had it working for a while, although couldn't get it to recalibrate. Now, I cannot it to register at all on the PL. Before it showed 5 volts, now nothing. LED doesn't even light up. I'm going to call Innovative and try to send it in to have them look at it. thanks!!!

If you've still got the LC1 power wire hooked to the ECM's orange wire, try moving it to a known good source for 12v. Like you fuse block. You could have a bad power connection.

I've got it disconnected now, but will give that a shot. As an fyi, I put a multi-tester on the connection and it showed I was getting power. Thanks Dave!
