'94 Buick LeSabre code pulling
Maybe someone can help me here. I have a buddy that has a '94 Buick LeSabre with the SES light on. This car, according to the emission control information label, is OBD I compliant. However, it has the 16 pin OBD II (J1962) data link connector. Is there any way I can pull the codes on this configuration without buying some fancy contraption? I already have a paper-clip and an OBD II code reader and rather not buy anything else.

Heath Howard 87 TR MAFT Pro, LC1, PL, Tpro, Extender Pro, 30 over 109 block, stock crank, rods, and cam, Sealed Power forged pistons, stock irons w/larger valves, stock intake and tb, RJC plate, 60's, GT 6152 E, PTE FMIC, Razor Alky, stock headers, 3" ATR dp, 3" single-shot, 3200 Precision multi disc lockup, Deep trans pan w/ rear pickup..... Diapers and politicians need to be changed regularly....and for the same reason!  Transmission DOA. Anyone want to help a fellow TR aficionado who is down on his luck?
