Yes, there are data differences. Not a ton, but some. Hopefully I can explain this so I don't confuse myself.
The TunerPro, attaches directly to the Translator Pro, and as such, can see and log everything "in" the TransPro, plus whatever items it "touches" in the ECM. Like the internal VE table, User tune tables, translator pro setup (all settings), Translator Pro config settings, basically everything that can be accessed by Translator Pro keys and be handled by Tuner Pro RT which makes that facet of things easy, no endless key punches to find something. Things that you wont see in TunerPro RT are, (and I'll probably forget something) are: IAC LV8 EGR IAC coolant temp ign. volts cross counts advance knock retard, knock counts injector pw injector dutycycle the blm cells (all of them) none of the ecm status code flags (loop status, pe, dfco, etc) none of the ecm I/O flags (gears, tcc status, etc.) Power logger sees "everything" in the ECM (like DS did/does) only more! What powerlogger can't see are Translator Pro specific stuff like the VE table, user tune tables and so on. Tuner Pro is somewhat cumbersome to data logging with!! Powerlogger on the other hand is super simple to initiate data logging!! just hit the space bar, and you've got a log looking back 20 seconds!! Makes it super nice for capturing intermittent events.!! Tuner Pro RT comes free with Translator Pro, and I use it as an interface to Translator Pro, with an occasional data log. However, I use Powerlogger for comprehensive, easy data logging!!
